As a free member of the Afro-Caribbean-British
ethnic group, I am playing classical music at present because I love classical
music. All music genres are forms of
artistic expressionism. If one does not
like classical music, or any other genres, then it does not define them in a
negative or positive way. People can
appreciate any artistic genre they wish because only the weak are influenced
negatively by art form.
Like the blockbusters at the picture show (movies),
which are a more lengthened and visual artistic form of the creative director,
the film (movie) that one watches does not define one’s character, sexuality,
fortitude, culture or morality, but defines one’s mode of entertainment
appreciation. This is also relevant to music;
one cannot truly be tarnished with an untoward reputation because of the art that
one enjoys. Some art forms do not suit
one’s stereotypical classification, by the society of one's residence, especially
from those who are defined with the identical labels. However, can one who is eclectic
really be at fault for the ideals of others, in a supposedly free world, which
promotes freedom of expression in their legal codes?
Therefore,
even though one might conflict with stereotypical attitudes, embedded in the
cognitive hemisphere of the brain, everyone in the free world must be able to
express their appreciation for artistic subjective beauty in a way that suits
one’s artistic nature and not be tarnished with slander or abuse for it. There are no rules for artistic appreciation,
as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Therefore, let not the eye of progress and individuality be burnt out by
the eye of woeful obsession and satanic despotism. For then would not the entire world be blind to the
beauty, of the laws of civilised virtue and enlightened libertarianism?
