My political stance is moderately
at the centre ground of the political spectrum.
It is my ardent belief that in this current Information Age (Digital
Age), government are only effective when occupying the centre ground of the
political spectrum as this allows flexibility, to adapt and plan. Since the global struggle of the Cold War,
where ideology was often important to sometimes advance protectionism, (A dirty word since the ‘Corn Laws, spoke of
by Adam Smith in the ‘Wealth of Nations’ and then a hot topic in its days. Also shouted down in the House of Commons when
the British Empire wished a barrier within her colonies to attempt to control
international trade and commerce, which was a step up from the gun boat diplomacy
then practiced in a strategic way.)
This economic Cold War strategy was sometimes advanced to keep nations
loyal to the west.
Once The Cold War was ended, in a victory for capitalism and democracy, at the dawning of the 21st century on a moderately weathered day in New York, a new global struggle began. After many years of fighting on different fronts an elusive enemy, the ones whose strategy of war should be not only hot war, not only attrition, not only alliances but the coup de grace policies of advancing liberty, democracy and the rule of law, to isolate and weaken them; they have become worse than them. Before advancing freedom they advance terrorism, before advancing law, they advance crimes against humanity and before advancing a utopian land of modernity, they advance sexual slavery and kinky technology. It is thus important that they cover the centre ground and create a barrier against tyranny. I speak not of ‘Fortress Britannia’ or ‘Fortress America,’ but instead ‘Libertarian Britannia, Libertarian America and a free world of civilised principles and peace. This is the way to march forward with dignity, freedom and tolerance. Let not the way be narrow and darkened by the red lights of cupids, carnal conclusion, otherwise we will all be turned on and the strategic focus on an elusive enemy turned off.
